I am a Palestinian Arabic language teacher resident in Bethlehem. I have been teaching Arabic language (both classical and colloquial) to foreigners since 27 years. I started initially with one or two students and now I give courses to groups of up to twelve.

My students are from all over the world: Argentina, France, Germany, India, Italy, The Netherlands, Philippines, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, Belgium and the United States. The Arabic which they learn helps them in their day to day activities for which they came to Palestine:

• Professors in Bethlehem University.
• Nuns from many denominations.
• Franciscan priests.
• Volunteers who come to work or help in schools, associations, organisations, hospitals, etc.

I have taught young children and adults aged from 18 to 60 years old.

As well as Arabic, I speak English, French, and a little Italian.

I find teaching both fascinating and fulfilling, and feel a sense of satisfaction in the achievements.
